Children's swimming lessons

FUN Start!
for KIDS

Swimming is such a great way for your children to exercise and stay fit, and there’s no better way to give them the right start than with Love Swimming

Of course, fun is at the centre of our teaching, but you’ll be safe in the knowledge that your child is being taught by outstanding swimming coaches who will develop him or her into a strong confident swimmer. Knowing that your child can swim will of course give you peace of mind. And knowing that they’ve been taught the right techniques from the start to really love swimming is invaluable.

What do the lessons involve?

Our lessons for kids are either private one-to-one or semi-private (group of two) sessions. Our instructor is in the water with your child, coaching and encouraging them individually. The lessons are above all fun, but we follow a structured plan to ensure your child is always progressing and developing. Our ASA qualified coaches adhere to the ASA national plan for teaching swimming and your child will be able to gain nationally recognised awards as they progress through stages 1-7. The lessons are completely tailored for each child – whether it’s their first time swimming or they’re hoping to clean up at the school championships!

When and how long?

30 minute and one-hour lessons are available. Please check out our timetable to see which times would suit you and contact us for availability.

As well as our regular sessions, we also run week-long Fast Track courses during the school holidays. These courses comprise 5 sessions, which can really accelerate your child’s learning. Find out more about our Fast Track courses and when they’re on.

What age range do you teach?

Our Kids’ lessons are for children from 2 years old up to 15 years old. We teach all age groups though, so for under 2s, check out our baby classes, and for 16s and over, please see our adult section for details.

What do they need to bring?

Your child needs to bring their swimming costume, a swimming cap and goggles. If you need any help with these, just let us know in advance, as we have caps and goggles for sale at the club. No need to bring towels – they’re provided.

How to book

Our lessons can be booked by term, annually, or as a fast-track course.  Please have a look at our timetable to see which dates and times would suit you, check out our prices and when you’re happy, fill in our online registration form and send us an email with your preferred days and times.
